MMMM PIZZA!!!! But it's so fatty, and I'm trying to heat healthy. What about Gluten Free Pizza? Or Dairy Free? But what can I use for a base and toppings without cheese?! I'm doing a Candida cleanse and can't have sugary sauces...
Well you are in for a treat my friend!!! We are about to share with you a TOP SECRET recipe for the best tasting and healthiest pizza you will ever make! And honestly... It really does taste AMAZING! You won't miss a thing :-)
To start with we make a completely grain free base. That way there is no gluten, carbs or sugars. Then we move onto our sauce which again has no sugar or any other nasties and is very simple to make... and tastes delicious! Then to the toppings, but feel free to add whatever veggie or meat your little heart, or tummy, desires. Finally, to finish it all off, we have the most amazing CHEESE FREE cheese alternative. Spoiler alert! Nah... you'll have to read on to see our genius CHEESE FREE topping. But I promise you, it will not disappoint.
1 Medium sized Cauliflower (broken into pieces)
1/3 Cup Chia Seeds
2 Free Range Eggs
2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Mixed Herbs
A pinch of salt and pepper
Blend all ingredients in a food processor until cauliflower is a fine power like consistency. Spread onto baking paper on an oven tray and even out to approx 1/2 in thickness. This should make approx 2 round sized pizza bases. Bake for 1/2 hour at 150oC. Then pull out and add toppings.
1/3 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 Garlic Clove Crushed
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh Oregano
Combine in a bowel and mix so the flavour gets through the Oil. Then spread onto base and add toppings.
1 Brown Onion Diced
2 Free Range Chicken Breasts Diced
1 Red Capsicum Diced
1 Tablespoon of Mixed herbs and spiced of your choice
A pinch of cayenne pepper
A pinch of salt
A drizzle of Olive Oil
In a fry pan on medium-high temp, stir-fry the onion for about a minute. Add chicken and continue to stir-fry until almost cooked through. Add capsicum, herbs, spices, cayenne and salt and stir-fry for another 2 mins. Add toppings to pizza and top with Zucchini Cheese.
2 medium sized zucchinis
1 garlic Clove crushed
A drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
70mL Coconut Cream
Add olive oil, garlic and zucchini into pan and stir-fry for 1 min. Add coconut cream and simmer for another minute. Then spread mixture over pizza and bake at 180oC for approx 30mins.
Cut and serve, just be a little bit gentle with the delicate base, and you can now enjoy the healthiest pizza you have ever made!!!
